TC Electronic in Risskov, Denmark, is releasing an updated version of its TC NEAR software that is compatible with Apple’s OS X 10.7 Lion operating system. The new software package, TC NEAR Version. 2.5.1 for Mac, is fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.7, and in addition, promises improved stability and performance.
TC Electronic Konnekt audio interfaces
TC Electronic states that the software supports both 32-bit and 64-bit environments, and that it applies to all of TC Electronic’s audio interfaces, including Impact Twin, Studio Konnekt 48, Desktop Konnekt 6, Digital Konnekt X32, Konnekt 24D, Konnekt 8 and Konnekt Live. Download the TC NEAR V. 2.5.1 software package.
In addition, iZotope in Boston announces that its software is compatible with Mac OS X 10.7, and that it has updated its knowledge base articles to provide the necessary information to customers interested in updating to Lion.
As with any OS update, iZotope strongly recommends that its customers ensure that their host software is fully supported before proceeding with this update.
