Yamaha Commercial Hosts Nevada Summit

Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems Divisio recently hosted a two-day key dealer conference featuring new product introductions and presentations by sales, marketing and product managers Lake Tahoe, NV.

Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems Divisio recently hosted a two-day key dealer conference featuring new product introductions and presentations by sales, marketing and product managers Lake Tahoe, NV. Key commercial audio dealers were treated to a full eight-hour day of presentations on new product offerings, including an introduction to the NEXO product line by key members of NEXO-France.

Atlanta-based group Collective Soul provided entertainment, and the day’s events were held at Caesar’s Tahoe’s Circus Maximus, which was completely outfitted with a NEXO GEO S system along with two Yamaha PM1Ds at front-of-house and monitors.

“We have held dealer meetings in the past for our key high-end commercial dealers and find this an effective way to not only provide them with new product-related information, but an opportunity to meet with the Yamaha Commercial staff as well as each other,” states Larry Italia, general manager. “Lake Tahoe is a beautiful environment, and it provided our dealers the chance to escape from their very hectic schedules.”

In addition to Yamaha Commercial staff and NEXO-France management, key executives from Yamaha Corporation Japan were on hand to meet with dealers along with Yoshi Doi, president of Yamaha Corporation of America, and Terry Lewis, senior vice president.

“I thought the setting was good and the presentations had a good balance of information and humor presented at a reasonable pace,” states Les Harrison, Hollywood Sound. “Yamaha is interested in long-term relationships, and does what is necessary to nurture those relationships. I appreciate and respect the covenants made at the opening of the event, and particularly the sense that we are as important to Yamaha as Yamaha is to us. Lots of manufacturers say that, but I hold this relationship as the standard by which I judge all others.”
