“Mystery of Mastering” Featured at Winter NAMM TEC Tracks

Featured at this year’s Winter NAMM TEC Tracks is the “Mystery of Mastering” panel at the Anaheim Hilton adjacent to the Convention Center.

“Mystery of Mastering”

Friday, January 25, 1:00 – 2:00 PM
Hilton, Level 2, California Ballroom A

Join exceptional mastering engineers and learn why a dedicated mastering engineer in a professional mastering studio can make a world of a difference in the creation of commercially successful music. A mastering engineer brings fresh ears to project completion in an accurate listening environment, and essential is the specialized gear designed for processing full mixes for distribution in various formats from CD and vinyl to streaming services.

Featured at the conclusion of this panel is a short playback of Suzanne Ciani’s “LIVE Quadrophonic,” the first Quadrophonic vinyl album release in 30 years. Produced by KamranV and mastered by Scott Sedillo, the album package includes a custom quadrophonic hardware decoder manufactured by Involve Audio for four-channel playback.
