Semi Precious Weapons have recorded their new self-titled EP at Ocean Way Recording with producer/engineer Jack Joseph Puig. The EP was released January 19th on iTunes, including the first three songs from their highly anticipated Interscope debut “You Love You” album, out this Spring.
Formed in 2006 by Berklee College of Music graduates, Semi Precious Weapons is a band from New York City consisting of Justin Tranter on vocals, Stevy Pyne on guitar, Cole Whittle on bass and Dan Crean on drums. All tracks were recorded in Los Angeles in November and December, produced by Jack Joseph Puig
(Green Day, Beck) and Semi Precious Weapons, and executive produced by Lady Gaga. Semi Precious Weapons is among the first artists using iTunes’ “Complete My Album” feature for an EP release, making the EP priced at $2.99 count toward the purchase of the whole album upon release this spring.

Semi Precious Weapons will continue on the Monster Ball Tour with Lady Gaga, which travels worldwide throughout 2010.
