SYMETRIX ADDS TWO DYNAMIC EUROPEAN DISTRIBUTORS

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON – APRIL 2011: As Symetrix continues to gain market share with its Jupiter series of “zero learning curve” processors, its SymNet Series of open-architecture DSP solutions and the Integrator Series, the company adds two prominent European distributors. Portugal-based Audium will distribute Symetrix products in its home country, as well as on several islands and in countries with current and historical ties to Portugal: Açores, Madeira, Angola, Cabo Verde, and Moçambique. Fixed installation and broadcast sound experts Visono Media will distribute Symetrix products in Sweden, where it is based.

Audium is a pioneer in Portugal’s A/V industry. The company opened its doors thirty years ago with the sale of nightclub equipment and quickly diversified from there. Early on, Audium partnered with manufacturers from around the globe and developed a deeply knowledgeable staff to provide the best equipment and expertise to its clients.

Visono Media brings the same level

of excellence to its more northerly clients. Owner Börje Jälmefors draws on thirty-six years of experience in every aspect of pro audio to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions that draw on cutting-edge and established technologies.

“People who have worked with both Audium and Visono Media on the client-side rave about their expertise and willingness to ensure complete satisfaction, from the initial call through, and even past, commissioning,” said Paul Roberts, vice president of sales and marketing at Symetrix. “Of course, that harmonizes nicely with our user-oriented goals at Symetrix. We’re especially excited to get our new Jupiter family of ‘zero learning curve’ processors into their toolbox of solutions. Jupiter’s because its ease-of-use and exceptional value will open doors for both experienced integrators and audio newbies alike.”

“I worked with Symetrix over a decade ago when I was with another distributor,” commented Jälmefors. “We sold a lot of their analog products, which always delivered incomparable quality and value. In the interim, of course, Symetrix has established itself as a leader in the field of digital audio, and I am excited to offer our clients the comprehensive array of solutions that Symetrix offers for almost every conceivable pro audio application.” João Pedro Crespo, director of commercial systems and marketing with Audium, agreed: “Symetrix is a very well-known brand, and it’s not just that they have a solution to every problem – that’s impressive enough – but they have the ideal solution to every problem. The Jupiter system, with its app-based design, is a perfect example. In short, Symetrix is the piece that completes the puzzle for us. Now our clients have access to everything they need.”
