TELEFUNKEN Debuts TF17FET Mic and Wireless Dynamics @ AES
TELEFUNKEN is introducing for the first time at AES the new TF17 large diaphragm FET Microphone. This newest voice in the Alchemy Series is the latest offering of TELEFUNKEN’s vintage-meets-modern phantom-powered condenser microphones.
TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik’s restored and customized pristine 1967 Volkswagen is prepared for its journey from the company’s headquarters in Connecticut to the AES Convention in NYC at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. Proudly emblazoned with original vintage TELEFUNKEN graphics, the van will be part of the company’s exhibition space at the annual gathering of the Audio Engineering Society.

In addition, TELEFUNKEN will debut new wireless capsules designed to mate with Sennheiser transmitters. The M80-WH2 and M81-WH2 wireless capsule heads offer the same sonic characteristics as the TELEFUNKEN’s M80 and M81 dynamic microphones.
