Boutique Guitars and Exotic Pedals Also Showcased
Vintage King Audio, the world’s premier retailer of new and vintage recording equipment, took it’s new guitar division to the LA Amp Show. Featured at the convention were the show-stopping 3rd Power Amplifiers, guitars from Rock ‘n’ Roll Relics and Echopark Guitars, plus two unique pedals, the Dumbloid and Son of Kong. The show attracted manufactures and guitar players from all over the US.
“We had an absolute blast!” enthused Tom Menrath, Vintage King’s Head of Strategic Development. “The 3rd Power amps were the talk of the show and the Dumbloid pedals sparked the imagination of anyone who tried them. The knowledge and passion exhibited by the attendees was very impressive.”
VK’s new guitar division has assembled a hand-picked assortment of amplifiers, pedals and guitars from some of the finest boutique builders in the industry. VK spent the better part of the past year testing and evaluating gear for standout tone quality and road-worthy construction. Each piece was passed around to the company’s cadre of top pro and weekend warrior players to obtain their individual seals of approval.
“Most of our staff either play guitar, record guitar, or help artists get the best performances possible in the studio,” added Menrath. “We feel it’s a natural extension of what we do to offer a select group of amplifiers, guitars, and pedals that we believe are among the very best available.”
