At the NSCA Expo 2004 (Las Vegas), Allen & Heath showedadditional options to enhance its flagship Xone:V6 audiophile rotaryclub mixer: the EQ Isolator and the V6 Crossfader unit (pictured).
The EQ module is a dual, three-band stereo isolator to providevariable attenuation of low, mid and high frequencies. Any two channelsmay be assigned to the filters simultaneously, allowing two tracks tobe seamlessly blended or montaged. The module, a 1U rack unit with 6stereo inputs/outputs, connects to the Xone:V6 channel insert pointsand shares the V6 power supply.
The Crossfader rack module adds crossfading capability to theXone:V6, allowing the user to select any input to either side of thecrossfader when required. Utilizing a Penny & Giles conductiveplastic crossfader and high performance VCAs, the module interfaceswith the Xone:V6 via channel insert points.
