East Anglia,UK–based sound rental specialist AudioLease has just completed three major arena dates with Sean Paul. For each of the concerts, held at G-Mex Machester, Wembley Arena and N.E. C. Birmingham, AudioLease used an Adamsom Y-Axis Y10 line array system.
AudioLease owner Steve Sunderland explained, “We had already auditioned a number of competing line array systems and were advised by various engineers to check out the Adamson system. We found the sound to be incredibly clear and well-defined, yet with real depth and weight to it. It deals with the most complex mixes effortlessly and with real subtlety.
“We used 32 Y10s for each of the venues for audiences of around 12,000,” Suderland continued. “Sean Paul’s music is very dynamic, requiring clean vocals and masses of low-end punch and power. The Adamson rig delivered superbly with plenty of headroom to spare. The more we use this system, the more we’re convinced it was a great choice.”
