The Killers’ recently wrapped-up Day & Age U.S. tour was the first to feature Martin Audio’s W8L Longbow line arrays, provided by Delicate Productions (Camarillo, Calif.) and Capital Sound (London).


Front-of-house engineer Antony King and monitor engineer Sarne Thorogood are both manning Midas XL8 boards for Depeche Mode’s Tour of the Universe…Thievery Corporation monitor engineer Gavin Pearce on using DiGiCo SD8: “[DiGiCo] brought us an additional SD8 at a moment’s notice for our FOH guy, Chris Garrett, who had spec’d another digital console, but that we had issues with. Within an hour, we had unpacked our 100-meter BNC digital snake runs and patched another control surface in at FOH. I loaded my file from monitors and we were up and running pretty quickly after that. Chris tweaked and turned until my monitor file was a proper FOH mix.
