APM Debuts Film and TV Music Podcast

Associated Production Music (APM) has introduced the Film and TV Music Podcast to give listeners a chance to hear about news and other developments in the business of sound-for-picture.

The first four episodes of the podcast focus on the videogame music business, featuring one-on-one interviews with composers Tommy Tallarico (Advent Rising, Tony Hawk Pro Skater), Chance Thomas (King Kong, The Lord of the Rings, X-Men), Jack Wall (Myst III & IV, Jade Empire, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow), Inon Zur (Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, Men of Valor, Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest), APM president Adam Taylor, Bob Rice of Four Bars Intertainment and others. Listeners will also have the chance to sample some of the tracks created by each of the composers interviewed.

Upcoming podcast episodes will spotlight the trailer music business and feature interviews with motion picture and videogame marketing executives, trailer editors and composers who specialize in trailer music and back-end cues.

The Film and TV Music Podcast can also be heard on any computer desktop or portable MP3 player. Listeners can download and play the podcast on demand or subscribe to the RSS feed to receive new episodes automatically as soon as they are released.

The podcast is also available through iTunes, Yahoo! Podcasts, Odeo, Podcast Alley and other podcast syndicates. For more information about APM, go to www.apmmusic.com or www.ipressroom.com/pr/apm/info/news.asp.
