Shure is now shipping its PGX Performance Gear Wireless systems, which offers eight configuration: four types each of handheld and bodypack systems.
The handheld Vocal Microphone versions offer the following microphone options: the PG58, SM58 and Beta 58 dynamic mics, as well as the SM86 condenser. Bodypack systems include the Guitar System (for guitar and bass), Lavalier Vocal System (with SM93 microphone), Instrumentalist System (with Beta 98 horn mic) and Headworn Vocal System (with WH20 mic). Both the PGX1 bodypack and PGX2 handheld transmitters get eight hours of continuous operation from two AA batteries.
All PGX systems feature Shure’s patented, microprocessor-controlled Predictive Diversity reception and full-frequency agility across an 18MHz bandwidth. Preset frequency compatibility allows up to nine systems per band to operate simultaneously, with 12 systems easily attained by using multiple frequency bands.
