Mexico City, Mexico (January 7, 2013)—The G Martell College of Music Technology and Audio in Mexico City has installed a 48-channel API 1608 console with proprietary P-Mix automation.
The school has been teaching music-focused courses for over 130 years, and has recently expanded into music technology. The college’s 1608 was purchased from Vari Internacional, API’s exclusive dealer in Mexico City. The console will be used to teach tracking and mixing to students who are enrolled in the Audio Engineering and Production Program.
The response from G Martell College has been very positive. “They are so happy with the console,” says Vari Internacional’s Gustavo Martinez. “It has been a complete success for them.”
