Registration for a free Exhibits-Plus badge for this week’s 135th AES Convention at the Javits Center in New York City ends this Tuesday, October 15, at 5 p.m. EDT.
Exhibits-Plus badges provide for free admission, with advance registration, into the AES Exhibition, the nation’s largest collection of professional audio manufacturers showing their latest technologies. Plus, Exhibits-Plus badge holders can attend Special Events, Knowledge Center, Project Studio Expo and Systems Sound Symposium.
This year’s convention highlights include a Friday keynote from multiple Grammy Award winner Jimmy Jam; “Sound for Picture” workshops featuring the sound shapers for the primetime Emmy Award-winning reality show Deadliest Catch; the Grammy SoundTables event (“What Would Phil Do?”) paying tribute to the late producing legend Phil Ramone; Platinum Producers and Platinum Engineers Panels; Young Guru’s presentation, “Era of the Engineer”; DTV Audio Group Forum; and more.
