Britton Appointed CEO of Doyle Technology

Doyle Technology Consultants, a leading consulting, design and system integration company, recently announced the appointment of Chris Britton as chief executive officer. Promoted from COO to CEO by the firm’s board of directors, Britton will be instrumental in broadening the company’s market reach and fostering strategic alliances within the industry.

“I am very pleased with the appointment to CEO,” said Britton. “This is a great company filled with talented people. I am excited to have the opportunity to shape the future of Doyle Technology Consultants and look forward to continuing the growth of the company and taking it to new levels of success. In the future, I anticipate us working with more and more major broadcast facilities throughout the country and furthering our reputation as a major player within the industry.”

“Chris Britton is the perfect fit for the role of guiding this company into the future,” said Greg Doyle, president and chief engineer of Doyle Technology Consultants. “We have already established ourselves as a leading technology provider for the industry, and this move allows us to significantly strengthen our position of leadership in the marketplace from a business management perspective. Chris has a tremendous track record of leadership and success wherever he has been, and it was evident immediately in the short time he served as COO here. We are particularly looking forward to working with him in his new role as CEO.”

Before joining Doyle Technology Consultants, Britton worked in leadership roles with several start-up and development stage businesses on the West Coast, ranging from software development to manufacturing to import/distribution concerns. He also founded Parallax Management Group, a consulting firm offering creative solutions to complex business problems. Britton began his career and was a partner with the international accounting and consulting firm Deloitte & Touche. Britton is a CPA in the state of Washington and holds both an MBA and BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington.

Doyle Technology Consultant’s recent system design and integration projects have included the automated playout system for duopoly operation of KPDX TV (Portland, OR), the transition of MSNBC.com (Redmond, WA) from analog system to digital media systems, and the automated playout system and integration of a DTV encoder for duopoly operation of KTEH TV and KCAH TV (San Jose, CA).
