FAIRLIGHT CC-1 MEDIA PRODUCTION ENGINE
This scalable processing card offers 8.5 GFLOPS of processing from a single PCIe card. The CC-1 leverages advances in FPGA-powered processing to execute a vast number of operations in parallel, requiring far fewer cycles than serial processing devices such as CPUs. The first released CC-1 engines are capable of delivering 230 channel paths, each with eight bands of EQ, three-stage dynamics processing, floating insert point with return, onboard HD video, 12 auxiliary sends and up to 72 user-definable mix buses. MERGING TECHNOLOGIES PYRAMIX 6
This 48-channel system combines with the Ramses controller and Oasis I/O boxes offering DSD and DXD recording with optional mic preamps. OPEN LABS TIMBALAND SPECIAL-EDITION
Dressed in an arctic-white chassis, the Timbaland Special-Edition 37-key MiKo and 61-key Neko will stand out in any crowd. The Timbaland Special-Edition upgraded to 4 GB of RAM features E-MU’s new Proteus X2 streaming sound module Version 2.5 with more than 7,000 instruments, including the Ensoniq Urban Legends sound library containing the sounds from Ensoniq’s ASR/EPS/MR/ASR-X/ZR instruments. These sounds were specifically requested by Timbaland, and are only available in the Timbaland Editions, an Open Labs exclusive.

New features in this Sound Forge upgrade include multichannel audio support, drag/drop editing between channels, wet/dry mix and crossfade options. New analysis tools include phase scopes, mono compatibility meters and multichannel-capable spectrum analysis. Other updates are channel and hardware meters, multichannel Windows Media format support and Dolby Digital AC-3 export. Windows XP and Vista are supported. The upgrade is bundled with CD Architect 5, Noise Reduction 2 and mastering plug-ins comprising a reverb, multiband compressor, IRC limiter and loudness maximizer, and a parametric equalizer.
