McDSP’s Project Studio ($495) plug-in bundle now includes Analog Channel LE and ML4000 LE. Analog Channel LE offers the tape emulation algorithms from the AC2 configuration of Analog Channel, and ML4000 LE includes the look-ahead brickwall limiter from the ML1 configuration of the newly released ML4000. Project Studio customers can purchase the Analog Channel LE and ML4000 LE plug-ins as a $95 upgrade. Project Studio also now offers support for Intel-based Macintosh computers and Windows XP.
McDSP also announces the McDSP Education Program, through which the company has granted special access to its line of plug-ins to more than 75 schools in 18 countries. Hands-on training with McDSP plug-ins is available at SAE Institute, Bath Spa University, Berklee College of Music, University of Colorado, Denver and more.
Through McDSP’s new academic discount program, the Project Studio LE bundle is available to students, faculty and staff for $295. To qualify, interested applicants must fill out a special academic order form and provide proof of their status. Accepted proof includes a valid, dated academic institution I.D., a current, dated academic schedule, or a letter from the institution.
