Hollywood, CA (October 21, 2026)—The long-running Studio Pro DAW has been on a tear since it was rebranded Fender Studio Pro earlier this year, and that continues with its latest update, V8.2.
The new edition aims to expand its mixing capabilities, provide more flexibility and improve user workflow. Helping make that happen are a bevy of new features, including Trim Automation, Dim Solo Mode, Multiple Marker Tracks, Extended Stem Separation, Low Latency Mode for Vocal Tune and Per Note Sound Variations.

Trim Automation allows users to add a channel or send volume layer to smooth automations; elsewhere in the update, Dim Solo Mode is a new Mixer Option that dims other channels by a user-defined amount while keeping muted channels muted, helping creators focus on a single track without losing the context of the full mix.
With Multiple Marker Tracks, users can add additional Marker Tracks anywhere in the arrangement and set each to time or bar/beat positions, while the updated stem separation feature—now entitled Extended Stem Separation—adds guitar and piano stem isolation.

In V8.2, there are also multiple changes to Vocal Tune, including a new Follow option that reads the key and scale without triggering automatic key changes, and a new Low Latency mode that reportedly reduces plug-in latency to under 3 ms. MIDI 2.0 support has also been added with the new update.
Fender Studio Pro 8.2 is available now as an update for eligible Fender Studio Pro users, including qualifying perpetual license holders and Fender Studio Pro+ subscribers.
