New York, NY (September 10, 2026)—New from the folks at Studio Technologies is the Model 791 Control Console, a small-format monitor controller intended for broadcast and audio-for-video applications where a simple, dedicated user interface is required for management of secondary listening positions.

The Model 791 provides essential monitoring controls, including pushbutton switches for dim and reference level functions, and a rotary encoder for adjustment of listening level. Designed to work with the company’s StudioComm for Dante line of products, the Model 791 enables a user to create additional monitor control locations without duplicating the full set of controls provided by the primary control console.

A single StudioComm for Dante system supports the use of up to three Model 791 Control Consoles, enabling monitor control to be extended to multiple locations. The Model 791 is compatible with Studio Technologies’ Model 792/793 and Model 794/795 Central Controllers, which can be used to create the core of a StudioComm for Dante system for management of stereo or surround audio formats (16-channel surround and stereo using the Models 792/793, or 5.1 surround and stereo using the Models 794/795).
Systems can be used for applications including broadcast, production, post-production and other environments requiring audio monitoring; the system also supports analog and AES3 digital audio.
The Model 791 is built into a compact steel housing intended for tabletop placement. It requires a single standard RS-485 connection to a rack-mount StudioComm for Dante Central Controller.
