Solid State Logic announces continued strong market response to the C100 Digital Broadcast Console, having received eight new console orders from several U.S. television stations since June 2005, with an additional five consoles being delivered to a variety of U.S. television networks.

WSVN, a Sunbeam owned Fox affiliate in Miami, has installed a C148 to handle live news production. Traveling up the East Coast, WHDH in Boston, another Sunbeam owned station and NBC affiliate, has installed a C140 to handle their live news production. UNC-TV, a Public Broadcasting Station in North Carolina, has taken delivery of two consoles: a C124 and C148. The UNC installation also includes two C-SB remote mic stage boxes to meet the demand of an ever-growing production schedule.

KMAX (UPN)/KOVR (CBS), a CBS owned duopoly in Sacramento, Calif., is currently installing two C140 consoles to take on the audio duties for their live news operations, including “Good Day Sacramento.”

In Seattle, Wash., Belo owned KING 5 TV, an NBC affiliate is looking to a November install date for their C148 console. The console will handle the station’s live news operations. KCPQ-TV, a Tribune owned Fox affiliate in Seattle, is looking to a December time frame to install their C132. The new console will be used for live on-air news, including “Q13 Fox News This Morning.”
