BriteShot Enhances User Experience With Release of BritePower App

Free Digital Tool for Both iOS and Android Maximizes Battery Operation and Management by Providing Instant Updates on Power Levels

NEW YORK, NOVEMBER 15, 2021 BriteShot, an industry leader in LED lighting solutions and an expert in COVID decontamination products, is further enhancing the user experience for its BritePower modular power system with the introduction of its BritePower app.

The BritePower app was developed to maximize battery operation and management by providing instant updates on power levels. This digital tool is available (free for both iOS and Android) in the app store as BritePower by CEI. The app also enables users to hot-swap batteries with zero power loss when switching batteries out to charge. This fool-proof, user-friendly app can also be used to power the batteries on and off for efficient and simple control.

“When deploying the app, there’s no need to hang around by the battery to monitor energy levels, because with built-in Wi-Fi hotspots, the app will send a push notification to the user when its batteries are getting low,” says Roy McDonald, co-founder at BriteShot. “BriteShot is committed to bringing innovative products and solutions to the market and the introduction of our BritePower app specifically for our BritePower modular batteries, is further proof of our dedication to making our customers workflow simpler and more mobile.”

The BritePower app seamlessly integrates with the companies recently released BritePower modular power system. This mobile and rugged energy delivery solution provides continuous power via hot-swappable lithium-ion manganese phosphate battery packs. BritePower eliminates the need for a generator in any application and it does not require permits, providing a solution that increases mobility, flexibility and accessibility when it comes to deploying a dependable energy source. With its small footprint and long lifecycle, BritePower packs provide energy for commercial applications, including film and entertainment.

In addition to film and entertainment, BritePower’s renewable energy storage provides power for a multitude of uses including agricultural and cultivation, house of worship, hospitals, schools, emergency services, homes, energy resilience, recreational vehicles and more. Easy to use, the system has a user-friendly design; the 30-amp invertor, the battery and the charger are custom built mobile road cases providing efficient transport.

The BritePower modular power base system consists of a charger, a 4kW AC to DC inverter and one 2.5-kWh (kilowatt hours) battery pack. Multiple battery packs can be connected simultaneously, parallel to the invertor, to extend the energy capacity to 5kWh or more. Alternatively, one battery can be charged while the other is in use. In this configuration, a fully charged battery can be connected to the system before removing a depleted one, allowing for uninterrupted power delivery, which is a must-have for mission-critical and time-sensitive applications. Each battery pack charges in approximately two and half hours and lasts three hours depending on power consumption.
