Now designed for storing up to 36TB within a sleek compact 6U chassis, Globalstor‘s latest ExtremeStor-DI model is capable of processing dual streams of 2K HD content, which is perfect for stereo 3D, allowing users the ability to manipulate and view content in real-time in an excess of 24 frames per second at the highest resolution possible. It also features a pair of dual core or optional quad core Xeon or Opteron CPU‘s with 3GB of RAM, hot swappable mirrored OS drives, redundant hot swappable power supplies and hot swap fans. Additionally, it is equipped with 36 hot swap SATA drives that deliver read performance in excess of 1200MB/sec and write performance in excess of 900MB/sec, further maximizing customers ROI (return on investment).
