Composer Dan Foliart Conducts Top Musicians for Hit TV Show

Composer Dan Foliart is scoring “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” at Ocean Way Recording in Hollywood. For the fifth season, Foliart conducted his score with top LA musicians, including Domenic Genova, bass; John Ferraro, drums; Jon Walmsley, guitar; Steve Reid; percussion; and Jim Cox, keyboards.

The American teen drama television series was created by Brenda Hampton and first aired on ABC Family in 2008. The pilot episode broke the record for the highest rated debut on ABC Family, and that record was broken by the second season premiere. The show has earned the Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer TV Show and has inspired the book entitled “The Secret Diary of Ashley Juergens.” The hit show is now in its fifth season.
