audioEngine Signs Sound Designer Brian Beatrice

Brian Beatrice

audioEngine in New York City has signed Brian Beatrice, an Emmy Award-winning sound designer who has worked on projects for Nickelodeon, Food Network, USA Network, Syfy Channel and truTV, as well as commercial spots for the Kaplan Thaler Group, Publicis, Inkwell and CDA.

“audioEngine operates across the spectrum, from long-form to short, from spots to films, so when we hire new talent, we look for someone who can hang anywhere. It’s great to be working with Brian again,” says audioEngine EP Sharon DiTullio-Tepper. “And Brian can not only handle these kind of projects, but he comes at them with the unique insight and capability that his years of experience provide.”

Beatrice worked on such recent long-form programs as WNET/PBS’s Nature, Secrets of the Dead, Wide Angle, and numerous documentaries for the National Geographic Channel, including the Secret Service series, CIA series and Working Dogs series. His documentary work includes projects for PBS, VH1, Lifetime, and the History Channel, as well as numerous independent films.

Prior to joining audioEngine in 2011, Beatrice spent time at Bionic and Tonic in New York City. He launched his career in 1997 at the National Video Center and Recording Studios in New York.

“Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with some of the best,” Beatrice says, “so I’m not going to partner with anyone who can’t bring it on a regular basis. In joining audioEngine, I feel as though I’m entering a partnership of peers who can push me into new realms of creativity. Now let’s get this thing started.”
