York, England-based P.A. equipment rental company JSS Audio has added a Soundcraft 40-channel MH3 desk from LMC (Birmingham).

The new desk has already been on the road with Supergrass and Fun Lovin’ Criminals, and is headed to a stadium show in Hull (England), which features Westlife, Girls Aloud and Triple 8. Jem Walker of JSS is a longtime purchaser of Soundcraft mixers, already owning a stock of smaller general-purpose models such as Deltas, Spirits and Folios; a 40-channel SM12; and a 40-channel K3.

“It seems to me that we have recently moved up into the first division of P.A. companies and that has happened principally because we’re very professional at what we do, and because our engineers are working with a lot of successful artists,” commented Walker. “In the light of this expansion, we want to do things properly as far as equipment is concerned, which is why we’re looking at a major investment in a new line array system, and why we’ve bought the Soundcraft MH3.”
