While Simple Minds remains best-known for the eternally omnipresent “Don’t You Forget About Me,” the group’s true highwater mark has always been its breakthrough 1982 album, New Gold Dream (81-82-83-84), which recently got the box set treatment with a deluxe 5 CD/1 DVD reissue.
