Vintage King Audio, the world’s premier retailer of new and vintage recording equipment, has opened Vintage King Nashville, a retail store and demo studio in the heart of one of the most vibrant music cities on the planet.

Like VK’s Flagship Los Angeles location opened in 2012, Vintage King Nashville is deeply rooted in the concept of providing customers with a unique shopping experience – allowing gear to be demoed and compared in a proper studio environment. With each new location, Vintage King strives to create a space that is steeped in local vibe and studio culture.

“Vintage King Nashville is another great milestone for our company and we couldn’t be more excited to add it to our roster of brick and mortar locations,” expressed Mike Nehra, National Sales Director and Vintage King co-owner. “We’ve set out to make our retail spaces unlike any others in the industry. For us, it’s not about churning out as many customers as we can each day, but to really give each customer an experience more akin to being in their own studio trying out new gear.”

Bringing together a veritable greatest-hits from Vintage King’s website, the new Nashville location offers up a variety of classic and current pro audio gear in a beautiful retro-inspired facility. Customers will find monitors, mics and outboard processors as well as studio essentials like analog tape, cables, and hard drives.

Brands that VK is well known for like Shadow Hills, Barefoot Sound, Neve, API, Retro Instruments, and others are all present and on display, giving the Nashville audio obsessed the opportunity to try out gear in a friendly, relaxed environment.

For the musicians in town, Vintage King Nashville is stocking a hand-picked selection of boutique guitars, amps and pedals plus analog and virtual synths.

“There has never been a full service pro audio shop and high-end boutique here in Nashville like this. Vintage King Nashville is sure to be a cultural center for everyone in the music production world. Studio technicians, session musicians, songwriters, engineers, producers and artists can all benefit from it,” stated Chad Evans, Nashville & Global Sales.

Vintage King tapped local designer Carl Tatz to design and tune the control room, which is outfitted with an API 1608 console with automation and features custom furnishings by Sound Construction. The control room utilizes Tatz’s PhantomFocus System and the Carl Tatz Signature Series products from Auralex Acoustics.

Tom Menrath, head of VK’s Strategic Development, remarked, “We’re extremely proud of Vintage King Nashville and the team we’ve assembled. We’re eager to share it with the incredibly talented and diverse music community that exists here. Vintage King Nashville is open daily, please give us a call or stop by!”

Vintage King Nashville is located in the heart of Berry Hill at 2826 Dogwood Place, Nashville, TN 37204
