BURBANK, CA – May 22, 2010 – Spectrasonics has posted three new videos to its online Artist Video Series featuring keyboardist and composer Lyle Mays (Pat Metheny Group) improvising using Spectrasonics’ Omnisphere and Trilian virtual instruments triggered from a MIDI’ed Acoustic Grand Piano. Two videos capture the live music creation process with drummer and percussionist Alex Acuna (Weather Report) while a ‘Behind the Scenes’ video offers a rare glimpse of the studio sessions. The videos are available for viewing at the Spectrasonics website.

Other videos in the series include George Duke & Greg Phillinganes, rock producer and multi-instrumentalist Chris Vrenna creating new original music with Trilian, and dance music producer Josh Gabriel creating a remix and DJing live with it.
