Fox Business Channel Chooses Calrec Sigma Consoles

To meet the needs of a further expansion of the Fox News operations in New York City, Calrec is to supply two Sigma audio consoles with Bluefin High Density Signal Processing (HDSP) and a Hydra network that connects the consoles to remote sources. The consoles will join a Sigma console currently installed at Fox News Channel. The order was confirmed at the NAB 2007 convention in Las Vegas.

“We are very pleased to be part of this expansion of Fox’s New York facilities and especially for such an exciting and important project as the Fox Business Channel,” says Calrec sales director John Gluck.

Sigma with Bluefin provides 320 channel processing paths on one DSP card, with full EQ and dynamics on all channels, groups and main outputs. These can be configured for up to 52 full 5.1 surround channels.
