Denton, NC (August 21, 2018)—Staffers from the Entertainment Technology program at Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown, NC went on a field trip sans students recently when they were invited to check out a RCF concert audio system being used for a July 4th Exile concert at Denton Farm Park in Denton, NC.
GTCC’s Entertainment Technology program has an actual classroom laboratory with a RCF HDL20-A line array system with SUB8006-AS subwoofers that are used for teaching purposes.
Knowing that, RCF partners from Morgantown, NC-based Blue Ridge Sound and Gallatin, TN-based Lonely Dog Productions invited the school staff to see and hear RCF products in an actual concert setting.
GTCC’s two-year Entertainment Technology program is designed to prepare students for work in the entertainment field. The school’s educational offerings include an Introduction to Entertainment; Live Sound Production and Lighting Production; Entertainment Law; Entertainment Promotion; and Concert Management.
