GCPro Takes A Spin

Spin classes are an increasingly popular form of exercise—one that Fit Revolution, a cycling studio outside Boston, teaches daily. While Guitar Center Professional, the outside sales division of Guitar Center that focuses on the needs of professional users, first helped design and install a complete audio system for the facility before it opened in 2013, more recently, Fit Revolution Founder and Owner Michelle O’Connor got in touch with CG Pro again when it came time to expand the spin studio late last year.

North Reading, MA (April 28, 2015)—Spin classes are an increasingly popular form of exercise—one that Fit Revolution, a cycling studio outside Boston, teaches daily.

GC Pro Senior Account Manager PK Pandey, who managed the first audio system design and equipment sourcing for Fit Revolution, recommended a system that included seven Electro-Voice EVID ceiling speakers powered by an EV CPS2.6 power amplifier and managed by a dbx 640M ZonePro processor. A Stanton C502 dual-CD/MP3 player provides the facility’s music/audio content. The new system will provide the backdrop for Fit Revolution customers as they use new services such as kickboxing and aerobics classes made possible by the new studio expansion, which brings Fit Revolution to a total of 2,500 square feet.

“Working with Michelle is great, because she’s come to trust and rely on us to provide exactly what her business needs,” says Pandey, who helps lead GC Pro’s Boston location. “The first time we worked together, we made sure that we provided the best sound system in a fitness club I knew of, and this time was an extension of that. Nothing’s changed in that regard—the best equipment for the job at the best price.”

Fit Revolution Owner O’Connor couldn’t agree more. “Working with PK and GC Pro this time was as satisfying and productive as it was when we first opened,” she says. “He helped reconfigure the new and existing sound systems so that we can cover all of the areas we need efficiently.”
