Anaheim, CA (January 4, 2011)—MiPro will present its new MM-89 condenser vocal microphone at the upcoming NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA next week.
According to the company, the MiPro MM-89 is a true condenser vocal microphone designed for live or studio applications. The mic’s capsule, designed by MiPro’s founder, uses constant cardioid polar pattern to obtain reportedly wide frequency response and dynamic range characteristics.
The exterior multi-layer grill protects against impact, “pop” and breath noise and can be detached for easy maintenance and hygiene practices. Eugene Chen, VP of International Sales, noted, “This microphone is important to us. As MiPro has been always focused on wireless microphones, MM-89 is the pioneer to join the famed true condenser microphone list. We are confident MM-89 will become the best ever representative wired microphone of MiPro, just like its number 89 signifies prosperity and permanence in Chinese culture.”
The MM-89 requires phantom power and is currently available; an optional mic capsule for wireless handheld transmitter will be released in the first quarter of 2011.
