PreSonus Offers FP10, FireBox Tutorial Videos Online

PreSonus has released two free instructional videos on recording a song using the FP10 and FireBox FireWire recording interfaces. Both videos are available on the PreSonus’ Website at (FP10) and (FireBox).

Hosted by Baton Rouge, La. musician Chris LeBlanc, each instructional video offers a step-by-step tutorial on how to record a multitrack song using the included Steinberg Cubase LE 4 recording software with the PreSonus FireWire interface. Each video begins with setting the song tempo and recording a “scratch track” or “guide track.”  “Keeper tracks” are then recorded to separate tracks in Cubase LE 4 including drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals. The videos end with mixing the song to a stereo WAV file to burn to a CD or distribute online.

“We want to be a place where people go to learn about recording and music creation,” says Director of Marketing Brad Zell.
