Gold Line AmpGard

The AmpGard is a rackmounted amplifier monitor that compares the signal going to an amplifier to the signal coming out

The AmpGard is a rackmounted amplifier monitor that compares thesignal going to an amplifier to the signal coming out and indicates afault if a significant difference is found. The AmpGard uses programmaterial and generates an intermittent test tone for situations wherethe system is not in continuous use.

When a fault is detected, the affected channel will latch on, afront panel Fault LED will light and a relay will be activated, whichcan be used to remotely indicate a fault via the Fault Alarm connectoron the rear panel. The circuit will remain latched until reset.

A rear panel-mounted connector is provided to which an installer canconnect auxiliary equipment suitable for the installation. Thisconnector becomes active when the switched output control relay istriggered by a channel fault. Connected equipment can range from asimple light bulb to a heavy-duty, solid-state relay capable ofhandling multiple announcement devices.

The AmpGard can be ordered with just one channel or as many as eightchannels installed. For more information, visit www.gold-line.com/ampgard.htm. For more new soundreinforcement products, visit mixonline.com/live_sound_products/.
