Behringer announced the launch of its 3U rackmount EURORACK PRO RX1202FX mixer. The mixer is designed for the traveling rack, for tidying up and conserving table space in the studio, or for the keyboardist who needs to submix. It features Behringer’s ULN (ultra low-noise) design, incorporating eight new studio-grade IMP mic preamps, with 130dB dynamic range and 60dB gain range, and low noise, low-distortion 4580 operational amplifiers.
The EURORACK PRO RX1202FX offers four balanced, high-headroom line inputs and two aux sends per channel (one pre-fader for monitoring applications and one post-fader for internal effects or as an external send). It also has separate control room and headphone outputs, and stereo-assignable CD/tape outputs. The main mix outputs are balanced on gold-plated XLR connectors.
The unit includes 60mm logarithmic-taper faders and sealed rotary controls. All channels have Behringer’s two-band EQ and a clip LED for level indication. The main channels can be routed to the integrated stereo 24-bit digital effects processor, which has 100 presets including reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, pitch shifter and various multi-effects. The unit also has switchable global 48-volt phantom power for condenser microphones.
