CEntrance recently demonstrated their new Universal FireWire audio driver for Windows XP, scheduled for release in Q1 2006. The CEntrance Universal Driver is ASIO compatible, features low-latency audio performance and supports 44.1, 48, and 96kHz at either 16- or 24-bit resolution. The driver will be offered for sale directly from the CEntrance Website, where customers can download the driver.
In 2004, Oxford Semiconductor chose CEntrance to develop ASIO drivers for its streaming FireWire audio controllers and designated CEntrance as its third-party solution provider.
