Litmus Vinyl performs at Milwaukee’s 2010 Summerfest
Milwaukee’s Summerfest is billed as “the world’s largest music festival” with 11 stages hosting artists and bands for 11 days. Clearwing Productions, which has provided production for Summerfest for more than 15 years, supplied Martin LE700 monitors at four of the 11 stages: the U.S. Cellular Stage, Briggs Stage, Rock Stage (Harley Davidson), and Miller Lite Oasis.
Martin LE2100 monitors were also used at the Marcus Amphitheater for one night of Lynrd Skynrd. The Clearwing crew included system techs Simon Bundy, Kevin Gilson and Clayton Melocik. They also used Crown amplification throughout.
A Clearwing spokesperson told Martin Audio that “LE 700’s have the punch power and stability for any situation, from rock to rap.”
