Flying Mole Corporation has developed a compact digital amplifier board, the APS-S30a, and begin sales in July 2005. The mini-board mounts an individual power supply to two 30-watt channels of audiophile quality sound, all “in about the size of a pack of cigarettes.”
The low noise, full resonance type power supply ensures continuous output of 50W (150W at peak). Other features include 80 percent rated output power, the integration of amp and power supply in a circuit module, 30W/4ohm x 2-channel sound quality,
Major international safety standards to be obtained include UL/CSA, CB-Report. Counter-measurement will be taken against RoHS directives (Europe). The general purpose sub-power supply (AC13.5V/7.5V) is integrated to support the circumference circuit. Price: $150.
