Mackie and Cutting Edge Audio of San Francisco are hosting an exclusive hands-on demonstration of Mackie’s new Digital X Bus High Definition Digital Production console at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26 at Cutting Edge in San Francisco.
Representatives from Mackie will give an in-depth, instructional overview of Digital X Bus’ features, which include an upgradeable 192kHz-capable mix engine; dual 15-inch touch screens; 100mm Penny + Giles optical touch faders; onboard control of a variety of DAWs, including Pro Tools, Logic and Nuendo; VST™ plug-in support; and streaming digital audio between the Digital X Bus and a Mac or PC via FireWire. The console also includes full rear-panel card cage so users can configure the Digital X Bus’s I/O to suit their studios’ needs.
The Digital X Bus platform is available in two models—the X.200 and X.400.
All attendees will receive a Digital X Bus Care and Feeding Kit, which comes with a mouse, touchscreen cleaning accessories, stylus pen and more.
