Microboards introduced its new CD/DVD publisher, the DX-2, which allows consumers to produce large quantities of discs with a finished, professional label, at a lower cost per disc. The DX-2 utilizes HP-based inkjet technology with Microboards’ patented, robust automation.
The DX-2 is available immediately. The software suite with the DX-2 includes SureThing label editing software and PrassiTech Zulu 2 recording and automation software, giving consumers access to advanced publishing features.

Microboards’ recent release of a second generation of its popular disc printer, the Print Factory, came as a result of studies showing the overall quantity of discs produced in each job on the rise. “The PF-2 Disc Printer, and now the DX-2 Publisher, have found a home in these growing organizations and applications,” said Westrum.

The DX-2 Publisher contains two recording drives and is available as a DVD/CD or CD only publisher. It features 100-disc input/output capacity and supports the latest recording speeds. The DX-2 comes standard with a one-year limited warranty and unlimited phone support. The DX-2 is now available.
