ADK MICROPHONES A6
The A6 has been designed to be reliable and robust with a relatively “neutral” sound coloration. This means that you can use the A6 on almost anything and get a great sound. The dynamic range was set to allow for moderately heavy SPLs, but keeping digital recording in mind the noise floor is also appreciably low. The ADK A6 is a reliable, “all-around” studio microphone that can be also used in live situations.

The S-7 has been designed as a high-SPL, reliable and robust microphone with a “linear” response. The mic offers a lifelike, detailed, transient-rich sound. The dynamic range was set to allow for relatively heavy SPLs, and the two-way pad enables this mic to be used with sources up to 150dB SPL. The S-7 is a reliable high-SPL studio microphone that can also be used in live situations.
AKG D 4
The D 4 ($160) is optimized for use on drums, wind instruments, guitar amps and oher high-SPL sources. The dynamic cardioid mic features AKG’s Varimotion diaphragm technology, allowing the user to fine-tune the mic with no extra tuning resonators. AUDIO-TECHNICA AT8004 DYNAMIC OMNI MIC
The AT8004 (5.93 inches long) omnidirectional dynamic microphone is ideal for on-location interviews/sports broadcasting.
