Announced in January 2004, Octiv Volume Logic was the first audio digital re-mastering plug-in for the Apple iTunes player. Octiv Volume Logic digitally remasters audio in real-time with the same technology used in the professional music and broadcast business.

The Volume Logic plug-in incorporates a 5-band dynamics processor that examines and adjusts the audio thousands of times a second. Low levels are raised and loud signals are kept under control, all in real-time.
