CEDIA Expo/Commercial Integrator Expo (CIX) to Spotlight Lighting Integration with Dedicated Pavilion, Sessions, and New-to-Show Exhibitors

Underscoring its value as the must-attend event for systems integrators serving the residential, commercial, and resimercial markets, CEDIA Expo/Commercial Integrator Expo (CIX) returns to Denver, September 4-6, with a robust lineup of exhibitors, to offer interior designers and integrators an immersive view into the future of the built environment. Central to the show is a comprehensive lighting component, featuring exhibits, education, and other resources, as well as an extensive lighting pavilion showcasing products from leading brands in the space, such as Lutron, American Lighting/Proluxe, DMF, and WAC/AiSPiRE, along with an exciting lineup of new-to-show exhibitors, including Deako, SATCO, and SunLight2.

“Lighting is central to the experience,” explains Jason McGraw, Group Vice President and Show Director of CEDIA Expo/CIX. “Whether it’s home theater where lighting is tied to shading and displays; home automation where lighting is integrated with security and access control; resimercial where lighting and AV are interconnected in meeting rooms, bars, restaurants and retail displays and in the commercial market where lighting is a critical consideration in optimizing any guest experience, shopping experience and board-room environment. AV without consideration of lighting is akin to audio without consideration of acoustics!”

The lighting pavilion at CEDIA Expo/CIX will feature displays from the following brands: American Lighting/Proluxe, Brilliance LED, BTX Window Automation, Cleanlife, Deako, DMF, Environmental Lights, Folio, Garden Light LED, Light and Shade Solutions, Light Can Help You, Lighthouse Design Studio, Lighting BOSS, Luminii, Ocelo Lighting Solutions LLC, PureEdge Lighting, SUNLIGHT2, WAC/AiSPiRE, and Yeelight. Other lighting-related brands exhibiting at the show include Lutron, Legrand, and Somfy Systems, among others.

Lighting education at CEDIA Expo/CIX will include sessions in the CEDIA Education Conference, such as Lighting the Path to Success/Insights from Industry Leaders, Myth Busting & Delivering: Human Centric Lighting & Wellness on September 3, 2025, and Best Laid Plans: Managing Lighting Designs That Survive The Project Gauntlet on September 4, 2025.

“For integrators, grasping lighting design, control, and integration is essential—not only for delivering comprehensive smart home solutions but also for expanding their business in both residential and commercial markets,” commented Paul Dolenc, M.A., Vice President of Education & Training, CEDIA Association. “CEDIA Expo/CIX provides our members with direct access to leading brands, new technologies, and focused education necessary to remain competitive. The lighting pavilion and accompanying sessions offer a unique opportunity to enhance their knowledge, explore new solutions, and connect with industry peers and thought leaders who are advancing this segment.”

Commenting on the strong lighting component to the expo, Ben Bard, Vice President of Luxury Residential, Lutron Electronics, says, “Lutron is thrilled to see lighting take center stage at CEDIA Expo/CIX, offering integrators and designers a valuable opportunity to connect around one of our most essential needs – light. The rapid adoption of intelligent lighting within the CEDIA community is inspiring, and for integrators who are not yet incorporating lighting into their business, CEDIA Expo/CIX is the perfect place to start.”

Jennifer Kirkpatrick, Director of Sales, American Lighting/Proluxe concurs. “In today’s fast-paced world, having a show where both exhibitors and integrators can achieve a great deal in a short time is essential. CEDIA Expo/CIX draws integrators from the residential and commercial worlds, and that doubles our ROI and makes it a compelling use of our time and resources!”

Jason McGraw agrees. “At CEDIA Expo/CIX, integrators have a uniquely comprehensive lens on the low-voltage and electrical ecosystems,” McGraw says. “As automation powers the convergence of these disciplines, the need for insights and education is even more pronounced, and this show is the singular platform for accessing that information.”
