Riptide Music Group Names Adam Wolf Vice President of Synchronization

Los Angeles, CA, June 4, 2014 – Newly formed Riptide Music Group has named Adam Wolf as its VP of Synchronization. A “sync-flavored” global publishing administration company, Riptide’s services include the worldwide synchronization of music for advertising, movie trailers, television, film and videogames. The company also provides services for the international collection of publishing royalties.

As VP of Synchronization, Wolf will be responsible for overseeing key Riptide Music Group clients in advertising and film, and will also remain active in identifying catalogs and talent for acquisition. He has recently overseen placements of the company’s music in a Superbowl Spot for “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” and in a national “Dawn Saves Wildlife” commercial.

Regarding Wolf’s new post, Keatly Haldeman, CEO, Riptide Music Group said, “During the recent years prior to the merger of Riptide and Pigfactory, Adam has been instrumental in expanding the placement of our company’s music across feature films, television shows and commercials. He is an invaluable asset to us, and is more than deserving of this promotion.”

Adam Wolf is VP, Synchonization for Riptide Music Group. Prior to this new post, Wolf had been Vice President, Creative, with Pigfactory. In that position, he had been responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing and licensing the company’s music for film, television, interactive, and advertising projects. Wolf also proactively sought new songs and catalogs to add to the company’s roster.

Wolf began his career working on independent films and soon became a producer with director Christopher Coppola. His extensive knowledge of music and film has landed him positions as music supervisor, producer and director of films and music videos as well as various aspects of post production.

Later, Wolf founded and was VP of Music Report/Tunedata, a company that was at the forefront of electronic music storage and delivery. The company was designed to help facilitate music requests from music supervisors and film makers to composer agents, music publishers, and record companies. He later joined several independent music publishers as a synchronization manager.

Wolf first joined Pigfactory in 2006 as Senior Creative Director and later became its VP of Creative. Since that time, he helped build the company’s synchronization department which saw placements in such high profile film trailers and TV series as “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” (Superbowl Spot,) “Lincoln,” “Breaking Bad,” “Tron: Legacy,” “Hawaii 5.0,” “The Good Wife,” “NCIS,” and “Parenthood,” as well as in commercials for Dawn, Playstation, Smart Car, SKYY Vodka, Chevy, BMW, and Travelers insurance.

During the recent past, Wolf was key to building a roster of songs and master recordings featuring those from such diverse artists as Fatboy Slim, The Turtles, Iggy Pop, Tina Turner, The Dead Kennedys, Rizzle Kicks, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Grimes, Frank Black, Demi Lovato, Def Lepperd, Black Flag, and Jordin Sparks.

Wolf’s extensive connections with the film, TV, videogame, advertising, and brands have landed him synchs in projects ranging from thousands of films and TV shows. This, along with his extensive marketing experience, have made him a go-to source for great innovative ideas for sync.

Wolf has been featured as a panelist at such prominent music industry gatherings as SXSW, AIMP, FUSE, LAMP, the International Music Summit, Folk Alliance, and UCLA extension. He has also been a judge on the prestigious UK Music & Sound Awards two years in a row.
