Warner/Chappell Production Music Launches Innovative Artist Series Catalog With First Release, Peter Frampton’s “Hummingbird In A Box”

New Artist Series collection will feature well-known, accomplished artists spanning a variety of genres.

Nashville, TN, February 4, 2015 – Warner/Chappell Production Music, Warner Music Group’s production music arm, today launches its innovative new Artist Series with its first offering, Grammy-winner Peter Frampton’s “Hummingbird in a Box.”

The new Artist Series collection will be home to Warner/Chappell Production Music’s commercial recording artist offerings available for license and will feature well-known, accomplished artists spanning a variety of genres.

“We are thrilled to launch our new Artist Series collection with talented artist and good friend, Peter Frampton. ‘Hummingbird in a Box’ is a work of art that will translate easily to film, television and new media licensing,” said Warner/Chappell Production Music President & CEO, Randy Wachtler.

“I’ve known Randy Wachtler as a good friend for many years. I am looking forward to working with Warner/Chappell Production Music, Randy and his worldwide team on this project,” said Frampton.

Rolling Stone says “…Hummingbird is fresh-sounding, sophisticated stuff; Frampton plays and sings as well as ever and, to his credit, his continually looking forward – rather than backward, for there’s quite a story there to be sure – only solidifies his status as one of rock ‘n’ roll’s lifelong major players.  Excellent stuff here.”

‘Hummingbird in a Box’ is exclusively available for licensing through Warner/Chappell Production Music.
