THIS YEAR’S MINISTRY OF TECHNOLOGY EXPO (MOTX) FEATURES DANLEY LOUDSPEAKERS

FORT MYERS, FLORIDA – APRIL 2011: Held this year at Faith Assembly of God in Fort Myers, Florida in late March, The Ministry of Technology Expo (MOTX) is not a conventional convention. Although patterned after the established A/V technologies meetings, MOTX is designed to bring manufacturers, designers, and installers together with house of worship end-users, including pastors, worship leaders, technical staff and volunteers. To achieve that goal, the registration and exhibition fees for MOTX are, and will forever be, affordable on any budget ($0.00 to be exact), and exhibitors and educators are cleanly separated to avoid any conflict of interest in trainings. Danley Sound Labs’ Florida representative Bencsik Associates brought a modest but representative collection of Danley’s revolutionary full-range and subwoofer technologies for the MOTX attendees to experience first-hand.

Bencsik Associates sales representative Jon Ferren led the charge for Danley at MOTX. He brought Danley’s flagship full-range box –

the SH-50 – along with several of its popular variants. A wide dispersion SH-100 was on hand, as was an SH-100B, which adds a tapped-horn subwoofer for an extended frequency response. A TH-MINI demonstrated the honesty of the Danley sound inside a box sized for small fill or stage monitoring. To demonstrate Danley’s incomparably honest low end, Ferren brought CS-30 and TH-115 tapped-horn subwoofers.

“Audio, video, and lighting are rapidly becoming an integral part of the contemporary worship experience,” observed Tony Flammia, owner of the AV Integration firm Creative Sound Solutions that organized MOTX. “A well-designed A/V system is a tremendous tool that provides dramatic support to make services more relevant to congregations of all ages. Unfortunately, there is still limited information and opportunity for churches to gain the know-how necessary to make informed decisions about investing in A/V equipment, and this is precisely what the Ministry of Technology Expo is all about. It’s a phenomenal opportunity to learn about the many possibilities. Best of, it’s free.”

“Danley Sound Labs is a Christ centered company and as such exists to see the Kingdom of God brought forth through the workplace. It is very much in keeping with our core values to assist a Christian church-centered mission like the Ministry of Technology Expo,” said Mike Hedden, president of Danley Sound Labs. “This year was a great success, and we’re looking forward to supporting more of these events in the future.”
