QSC Announces New Flagship to RMX Series

The RMX 5050 is the newest addition to the RMX Series power amplifier line and features a three-tier, Class-H design, 11/18/2003 7:00 AM Eastern

The RMX 5050 is the newest addition to the RMX Series poweramplifier line and features a three-tier, Class-H design, allowing for25% higher peak power than its smaller counterpart, the RMX 4050HD.

The amp delivers 1,100 watts/channel @ 8 ohms, 1,800 watts/channel @4 ohms and 2,500 watts/channel @ 2 ohms (EIA rated stereo). It alsooffers selectable low-frequency filters (30 Hz or 50 Hz) to protectspeakers and increase headroom, as well as high-current toroidaltransformers for increased 2-ohm power and lower noise.

The RMX 5050 features balanced 1/4-inch TRS, XLR and barrier stripinputs, binding posts and Neutrik Speakon outputs, front-mounted gaincontrols, plus signal and clip LED indicators. It is housed in arugged, compact 3RU chassis that is 16 inches deep.
