Wilsonville, OR (October 20, 2026)— First previewed at Winter NAMM 2026, Audix’s new Novacore dual-channel (NCR2) and quad-channel (NCR4) digital wireless receivers are now shipping.

The multi-channel receivers are the final elements of the 16-product Novacore digital wireless ecosystem, which runs the gamut from portable single-channel setups to high-density, multi-channel installations.

Conceived as an entry point into a full-scale professional wireless ecosystem, the Novacore platform reportedly delivers sound with a flat frequency response (20 Hz–20 kHz), a system latency of under 3 ms, and a dynamic range of > 110 dBA. Helping provide privacy and security, Novacore also sports AES-256 digital transmission encryption.

The new NCR2 (two-channel) and NCR4 (four-channel) receivers are the high-channel-count anchors of the Novacore system, featuring built-in Dante and AES67 networked digital audio outputs alongside balanced analog XLR outputs. Both 1RU units are rack-ready and offer clear front panel LCD screens that provide group/channel/frequency info, RF and Audio levels, antenna status, transmitter battery life and more. Also, the receivers feature on-board frequency scanning and one-touch infrared synchronization with handheld or bodypack transmitters.

The units also include Direct Channel Monitoring, in the form of a dedicated front-panel headphone jack with a physical channel selector switch and volume control, and Daisy-Chain Software Control via the free AUDIX Frequency Coordinator software for PC and Mac, which provides spectrum scanning and system monitoring. Multiple receivers connect directly via dual rear-mounted RJ11 ports accessed via the Audix NCPC USB Adapter (available separately). This allows engineers to daisy-chain the entire system together
