The newest addition to QSC’s ISIS Series loudspeakers, theISIS WideLine offers unparalleled accuracy and natural clarity, with a140º horizontal dispersion pattern. It features a three-way,selectable bi-amp or tri-amp design with selectable midrange frequencyshading for more coherent pattern control and betterintelligibility.
The ISIS WideLine employs dual 380-watt (RMS), 16-ohm, 10-inch,long-throw LF speakers and a 1.4-inch exit, 16-ohm, 80W (RMS) neodymiumcompression driver, mounted on a proprietary multiple aperturediffraction-slot waveguide. This patent-pending device produces linearsource needed for good line array performance and facilitates theenclosure’s exceptionally wide dispersion.
The ISIS WideLine’s trapezoidal bass reflex enclosure featuresa unique core-composite construction that contributes to increasedoutput, greater rigidity and lighter weight; each WideLine cabinet,with fully captive hardware, weighs in at 70 pounds. The enclosedrigging hardware and fly-grid provides easy adjustment of verticalsplay angles (0 to 10º) and is rated to fly up to 16enclosures.
