AKG Supports Red Bull Music Academy

A workshop attendee prepares for the 2007 Red Bull Music Academy.

The Red Bull Music Academy marked its 10th anniversary this year with more than 60 musicians, DJs, producers and sound engineers from all over the world who met in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to share and expand their musical experiences. This year’s Red Bull Music Academy again used AKG headphones and microphones during its two fall workshops.

The Red Bull Music Academy held two separate two-week sessions, from September 23 through October 5 and October 14-26. A wide array of musicians met with stars from a variety of different music styles. AKG equipment on-hand to support this year’s event included K 171 Studio and K 271 Studio headphones, as well as C 414, C 3000 B and C 4000 B studio microphones and WMS 4000 wireless systems.

“The Red Bull Music Academy is really unique,” says Alfred Reinprecht, AKG vice president of marketing and product management. “There is no other place where music passion and music perfection is celebrated this way. It is a compliment that the Red Bull Music Academy has chosen AKG products again this year for the one-of-a-kind event. We’re proud to be a part of it.”
